armin922
So this has been becoming a pain the the butt. The alternator is all the way at the bottom of the motor where there is limited space to work with due to the suspension and etc. Its on the passenger side btw. Has anyone ever changed an alternator on one of these? If so do you have an easy way to get it out. here are some pics. It really is a PITA~!! Sorry this was a cellphone pic. The cv axle is in the way. We ran out of ideas as to how to get this out. Its a tight squeeze. http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b285/armin922/mpv1.jpg http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b285/armin922/0404mpv3.jpg http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b285/armin922/0mpv2.jpg

armin922
do u own a shop? Also the van would have to be towed to whereever ur located. And where might that be? My friends wife called the shop and they wanted 350 for the alternator and 350 for labor. She called the mazda stealership. So if u can get it off and put another one on they said they will pay you. But let me know. THANKS
