i love AR's but have recently sold 2. I made at least 300 on each one and i have found that alot of people dont want to buy a gun thats been painted (looks as if your trying to hide scuffs and scratches is what ive been told). If you plan on keeping the gun, by all means paint that mofo, but for resale, dont paint. I second the "if its done right" bit. I love when i pick up an AR or M4 thats been matte finished...ohh jesis i cream myself.

The simple solution to this is: don't ever sell your guns. :bangbang:
