Bam Posted April 20, 2009 Report Share Posted April 20, 2009 98 vw jetta glx power windows only work when you put the key in the drivers door and turn it, they don't do anything when you push any of the 7 window switches. Highly unlikely ALL the switches went bad, and the drivers door isn't like a master switch for all 4 windows, it only holds the front two switches, while the rear two are located on the center console... any ideas what to check first?
