DTM Brian
What do you have left to do on the install besides the oil pan. All I have left is to get the maf flanged welded and I should be ready to start the car.

All I have left is to get the maf flanged welded and I should be ready to start the car. I need to do the same along with make brackets for the intercooler and run the vacuum lines. Not to mention wrap the downpipe and get a rubo blanket. Edited April 27, 2009 by Ramsey

Ramsey
Looks good Ramsey! Keep chuggin! Thank you, this is the first major work i have done to one of my own cars, so i am learning a lot. Ramsey, Feel free to contact me regarding maf placement. This is critical when using a maf in a blowthru set up. I am thinking about going after the coupler in the fender after the b.o.v. where did you put yours? Miller
I put mine in the fender where your second coupler is and that seemed to work out as good as it could.
Ramsey
I put mine in the fender where your second coupler is and that seemed to work out as good as it could. So, should i go before or after the coupler?

Miller
Sorry Ramsey! Put it just before the coupler it matches pretty closely to the distance of the location on a CAI's maf. Looking good by the way? Did you get your SCT chip yet? I'm going to see if Lasota is willing to meet at Robs shop to tune my car, maybe he could take care of us both the same day? DTM Brian
One of Chads Kits Mild combination with conservative timing on pump gas. I have done a number of these kits now and have some good base tunes using the mafs provided by Chad. http://75.180.27.125:50001/Dyno%20Graphs%20and%20Pictures./Dyno%20Graphs/Hangem%20High.jpg
DTM Brian
I am thinking about going after the coupler in the fender after the b.o.v. where did you put yours? I bought a maf flange and installed it on the same pipe as the bov right before the coupler going to the the last pipe.

Ramsey
Gotta love those set backs. I keep going back and forth on the whole oil pan thing, then stripped a bolt hole in the compressor housing, decided to upgrade bov and wastegate, looks like im gonna change oil pump and shaft. Not to mention as soon as my car went on jack stands, everyone else's cars broke. So, i will be heli coiling the compressor housing tonight, pulling the pipes with the bov and wastegates off and redoing the flanges for the new stuff. I was albe to get the down pipe wrapped and coated, maf wires extended, maf housing attached, pick up turbo blanket (thanks mojoe), also sold my long tubes, h-pipe, dumps, stock injectors, maf, cai, zex kit, and buy gauge pod. now, i am wondering if i want to run ponys with drag radials or welds? I have both but i doubt i will ever need to worry about daily driving or in the rain anymore. Currently i have decent street tires on the ponys and beat drag radials on the welds.
