Ry_Trapp01647545522
Wait for it... http://media.gm.com/servlet/GatewayServlet?target=http://image.emerald.gm.com/gmnews/viewpressreldetail.do?domain=30&docid=53902 contrary to what GMs media outlet says, they are going to kill pontiac. think about it, consider how much cash they put into marketing pontiac(quite a damn bit compared to some other brands), and the brand as a whole has never sold well in the past few decades. the G8, even though everyone said they would buy one as soon as it was announced, has been an epic sales flop. yet another australian import that everyone loves to look at, but no one wants to buy. the kappa platform that the sky and solstice are on is a very expensive platform, especially for the price of the cars. buick is the #1 selling automaker in china, no way is GM stupid enough to drop that money printer. GMC gets lots of fleet sales. although everyone likes to rag on fleet and rental sales, consider who would be getting those sales if GM didn't; the competition. simply put, the axing of pontiac is because pontiac sucks, no matter how good some of the cars are. it doesn't matter if they are offering a rolls royce for $20k, if it doesn't sell, it doesn't sell. look for saturn to quickly follow pontiac, as the euro rebadging plan isn't really increasing the sales(it's funny how people say they want something, then turn it down when its offered). hummer will be dropped as soon as they can find a buyer(c'mon tata!!!). Dave1647545494
WTF? trucks. Keep Buick? Who the fuck is buying a Buick? 1 billion chinese people think buick is the greatest thing ever it outsells all other brands and models there and gmc was the second best selling line at gm last year
Nitrousbird
Why not kill Saab? The whole lineup is outdated and in desperate need of MAJOR dollars to update it, and no one is buying the shit. Saab wouldn't be missed. Put the H2/H3 in as Chevy's, and kill them. Kill Buick in the US, and make it an overseas brand. Kill GMC in the US, and up the volume of Chevys. Re-focus Saturn as the "green" brand. Keep Caddy as-is. Refocus Pontiac as the sporting, nice, and slightly lower cost than the Germans alternative. Make Chevy a better Honda/Toyota competitor. Sell more brands across every dealership to make sales more efficient. And GET RID OF THE FREAKING UNIONS...ALL OF THEM. If that's not done, everything else is in vain. prettyprix
WTF? Keep GMC, a brand that is nothing more than re-badged Chevy trucks. Keep Buick? Who the fuck is buying a Buick? x2 That's so stupid. I wasn't even worrying about pontiac because I thought it would just be stupid to keep GMC

wnaplay1647545503
Just seen a new commercial for chevy and the point of it was how well their warranty was and that noone was aware of such a great warranty. It just made me think of how their warranties sucked for years and it was a long time before they jumped on the warranty bandwagon actually given a damn. Be innovative dont ride the fucking bandwagon.
