Somewhat cut-and-paste

We're looking for an addition to our application support team for an exciting new service that helps pharmacies and physician offices collaborate to submit prior authorization requests for prescription drugs. This helps patients get their healthcare needs taken care of, and improves the lives of our healthcare provider users too.

We think it's going to grow rapidly-the right person will have plenty to do and opportunity to advance in the company. (it is growing like crazy and we just launched it)

ABOUT YOU

* Extremely meticulous, happy spending lots of time doing research and doing detail work

* Inquisitive, takes interest in learning new things and solving problems

* Experience in pharmacy, healthcare billing, or physician back-office environments a huge plus

* Great communicator, both written and on the phone

This is NOT a programming position, but you'll need to be very good with basic computer tasks. If you've ever built a complicated spreadsheet, and interact regularly with new software and the internet, you'll be in great shape. (you will be working very close to programmers and systems engineers, you'll learn a lot of cool shit)

ABOUT US

We're a software development company in Downtown Columbus.

In addition to competitive wages, we also provide great perks:

* Health insurance and HSA account

* A casual, fun environment where people are encouraged to learn and try new things

* Free lunch every day. We usually order in from a number of great Columbus restaurants and dine out on Fridays.

* Free employee parking. Downtown parking can be a pain, so we just buy each employee a monthly parking pass to a lot right across the street from us.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

* Improve accuracy and completeness of our formulary data and prior authorization forms

* Research and identify new data

* Create processes for collecting data and improving data quality

* Serve as a data expert in customer support issues, and occasionally handle customer support directly

* Contact health plans and providers to validate data correctness

* Occasional travel to our second office in Cleveland

PM me if you or someone you know is interested. If I like you/them, you'll be right at the top.
