OneToEnvy Posted May 3, 2009 Report Share Posted May 3, 2009 My buddy and i have been hitting up argusy about once a week or so and i was doing well when i was taking a hundred dollars or so, however i lost 500 last night and my ass is a little sore. My buddy won about 800 and a roller on the other end won about 7000 while he was rolling. For those of you have played the game you understand how awesome that is to watch. For a good strategy you usually want to start out with at least 100 units(whatever the minimum bet is for the table). With a good bank roll and a strategy that you stick to you can do well, and the bank roll will let you go down a few hundred dollars before you hit a good streak for progressive betting. I do alright on give a little take a little and uping my bets by a unit at a time to keep the cash commin in, i just always seem to up them right before a FAT seven comes out..lol The truth is this. I got there at 10pm i left at 5am and i had a great time, yes 500 bones would have been nice to put into the subi, but scared money dont make money. I did hit a sharp shooter bet off another roller. Last time I played I went down a bunch on craps so I decided to try Texas Hold'em Bonus and ended up winning it all back in like 5 minutes. It was a lot of fun to play for real money for the first time. I ended up going home only -40, but everything I learned about there tables was worth it for my next trip down. I really want to play craps, but I didn't want to have someone explain every roll what was what again. He's got a hookup with one of the casino managers so we got comped room's, dinner, breakfast etc... I stayed at the blackjack table most of the night but he did bring me over to teach me how to play craps. I was literally standing there for 5 minutes and he made me a a hundred bucks, then i went back to playing blackjack. All in all i think i left with 200$ more than what i came with. It seems enjoyable but it was kinda confusing, he plays that shit all the time though. I did make the mistake of saying "what number do you not want? everyone at the table just looked at me" oops. Supplicium Posted May 5, 2009 Report Share Posted May 5, 2009 A couple months ago in Vegas between Sports and Craps I was up like 8k, lost all of it plus 2k at a BJ session. Ive never had a losing session like that before. Im still hurting thinking about it. I went up to Detroit for the CBJ game and did decent on the craps table but got smoked everywhere else. I love how the players up there play the dont pass and dont come lines. Youll get your ass kicked out in Vegas if you play that shit.
