wnaplay1647545503
Heres pics from today. The surgeon who did the skin graft said everything is looking great. The staples have been removed as well as the foam covering the newly transplanted skin. It hurt alot having everything removed and I am probably in more pain now than in the beginning. The pain is still unrelenting and the pills do very little. i may be seaking out alternative means for dealing with the pain. I have another visit next week with the surgeon who performed the surgery. And thats about it for now. If noone is interested in these pics I wont post any more. Thanks http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d87/wnaplay/DSCF1433.jpg http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d87/wnaplay/DSCF1437.jpg http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d87/wnaplay/DSCF1443.jpg http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d87/wnaplay/DSCF1446.jpg

wnaplay1647545503
looks perfect. no signs of infection at all. making good progress. expect that foot to be swollen for months---months Really? Thats not what I want to hear. They are trying to take the pain pills away but I dont know what they expect me to do. There is no way possible for me to become dependant on them but is there health issues involved with being on them long term? I am only doing (6) 5mg pills of oxycodene a day. It barely does anything. They have me in a 2 part cast. One goes on bottom of foot and up to the back of the knee. The secound is "u" shaped and goes under the foot and up both sides of the leg. As soon as it is wrapped up it is painful. The cast is very loose and not tight at all. I could see if it was squeezing and causing the pain but its loose. Benner
Have they given you any type of nerve blocker? I've had 2 of them done and for about 2 days you wouldn't even be able to tell you have a leg (if it's done correctly, first time mine wasn't). wnaplay1647545503
What is it for? I have not been given anything like that.
Benner
Both of mine were to relive the post surgery pain on my ankle. They started off by taking a bendable needle that was about 10 inches long with a small electrical charge and sticking it in the front of your upper leg so they can find the nerve that's needed. Then they inject this stuff that isolates and completely numbs the nerves in your lower leg. When I had the second one done, I got out of surgery and had no pain what so ever for the first day and a half or so cause I had no feeling. wnaplay1647545503
I am fearfull of the 30 shots in the stomach I am working on. I am not doing a 10" needle.
Benner
lol. It's actually not bad. they numbed the surface before they put the needle in. It did feel weird having a bendable needle snake all the way from the front of my leg around to the back.
wnaplay1647545503
Its weird, I was fine in the beginning with the shots but I have become almost scared of them.
Benner
hmm. I'm the exact opposite. I didn't like them at first. Now I'm just like "Fuck it, bring it on"
SpaceGhost
I had a nerve block for my wrist twice and my knee surgery. Let me tell ya about pain on the second one of my wrist because the current contracts muscles which jerked my very broken wrist untill he found the right spot. It was very weird to not feel my arm at all, it felt like I was grabing another person's arm. All three of my blocks only lasted a little less than 24 hrs. He's gonna need long term. mmrmnhrm
That's amazing how much better it looks compared to the last one. You keep healing like this, and we'll be wondering where the scar to prove it happened went.

wnaplay1647545503
The pain is unrelenting. 24hrs a day it doesnt stop. Medicine does nothing at this point and I have placed a call into the Dr's to tell them. They said they will look into it but the dosage I have should knock out an elephant. They gave me another script for the same stuff I had but workers comp wont fill anymore until june 2nd. Thats bullshit. They want me to take aleve or something. Its hard on the mind being its 24hrs a day. Theres no relief and all you want it is like 5min. Just give me 5 mins. I have begun searching alternative means of relief but I dont know. Oh trust me, I am not one, I will not even let my wife touch me with her feet. Feet are fucking nasty. Hell I don't even walk around barefoot in the house. I think my own feet are gross.
