Why would someone buy this?

I am all for new companies, but would any of you trust this? What about service or replacement parts? Build quality?

 

Perhaps they are big in other countries, and just breaking in here???

Honestly I wouldn't trust it, I have some experience with the Kymco brand. I will tell you when they run, they run good, and the quad we had didn't feel alot different than any others I have been on. They seem to be plagued with electrical issues like most of the other Chinese ATV's and scooters. Yeah and getting some parts is well difficult. I have only had luck ordering factory direct. Which took forever.

$4200 for a 250cc vtwin?! I'd much rather spend my money on a 1-3 year old Yamahonduki cruiser in the 650-750 cc range. I imagine depreciation on the Kymco would roughly match the continuing depreciation on the used bike.

Kymco is Korean, isn't it? At least they are bigger and better established than the Chinese brands.

 

It does look kind of cool for a 250cc bike. It might appeal to certain buyers on looks alone.

 

However, I would rather buy a used mainstream bike than one of these.

I believe so...I took my MSF @ the Broad St place and rode something similar.
