this was my dads bike...he loved it and i dont want to get rid of it... but im starting to question whether or not i want to risk riding on the street...i cant really afford it as is, so i think i want to sell it....im also getting to a point where im happy in my life, which hasnt been for awhile...and i just dont think i want to take the risk of riding on the road with all the people who dont know how to pay attention...i also know my dad didnt want me to be on it, and i know it doesnt really matter what he thinks right now given the situation...but still...god i miss him...

its a 97 vmax

17xxx miles

marble blue paint job

starts right up and runs like a champ

only issues are

1. it is salvage titled, it needs inspected....my dad rode it uninspected from 300 miles to 17k miles...it was hit crossing an intersection, and it was jsut cosmetic damage...the bike was repaired and he never got it inspected since they still let him tag/insure it

2. it needs steering head bearings... but i will fix those before its sold

3. tiny (maybe and inch long) rip in the seat

seat is aftermarket but original from yamaha, its just a nicer seat than stock

kerker slip ons

sissy bar

$3500 - possible trades for a car trailer + cash

if you want to fix the steering head bearings yourself, and can buy the bike before i am able to get them fixed, i will let it got for $3300...the bearings are $35 and shouldnt take more than an hour to install

oil spots under the bike are from the mustang, the bike doesnt leak anywhere

only listing it so cheap because its salvage.... ive seen these go for 4-5 with 80k miles on them

and yea, i want cash mainly, but i also need a trailer since im not going to insure my car anymore....if millers car is done, ill head over my next free day and start in on my car

bump! i will let it go for 3k without fixing the bearings, i will include them with the bike, you just have to install them

that is my bottom dollar

will consider trades for a 4 wheeler...must have a title!!

this can be locked up....going to fix the bike up and get the inspection done, and then ill decide whether i want to keep it or not...too much hassle to sell it with things wrong with it
