Jimmy Notchback Posted July 11, 2009 Report Share Posted July 11, 2009 So yesterday I went to get my car out of the garage and on the way home I could hear a slight tapping coming from the motor. I can hear it with the hood closed. It's not a constant rhythm and it seems to fade in and out. It sounds like it's coming from the left side right underneath the valve covers. I have fairly new 1.6 roller rockers and it's fucking pissing me off to no end. Should I check and make sure the roller rockers are tight? Could it be possible that a rocker arm came loose and is hitting the valve cover? Any other suggestions? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
