XChris1632X
I don't have anything too extensive that needs done but I wanna stretch the frame out on my truck so that I can fit a long bed on it. It sounds like a lot but has been done plenty. I can do a lot of the work but right now I still dont have a big enough welder to do the job and do it the way I want it done. Can anyone recommend me anyone to contact?
ODoyle
Tinman or Gearhead?
XChris1632X
I think I remember hearing a little bit about Tinman fabricating but I havnt seen him around here lately and I didn't think about it. I also know Gearhead did a lot of work but I wasn't aware that he was much into fabrication.

Skinner
wouldn't it be easier to pick up a long bed frame and transplant everything?

XChris1632X
wouldn't it be easier to pick up a long bed frame and transplant everything? No not really. A lot of people I know with trucks just like mine have done it. It only requires cutting adding something like 8.XX"s or something(I have to check), extend brake lines, fuel lines, drive shaft, ect. Oh and throw on a new bed. I already would like to weld in a driveshaft loop and maybe X brace it somewhere for strength.

Brandon
Fabrication, I don't know there is a another local Columbus performance shop with the same caliber of welders around. Maybe that is arrogant, but we have very good skilled and seasoned employees. We can easily do this, in fact Tank has done this before, not on your particular truck, but it is not too difficult like you mentioned.
