Probably a bad idea. With it being in water all of the time you will probably see a marking from where the graphic used to be and it will look worse. My $0.02.

true but some of the graphics are alreaddy pealing as the jte ski is almost 10 years old. these are the graphics im talking about(im at work so i cant see pics but i grabed them from my other thread hope there rhe right ones lol) the botton graphics that says wave runny. then the one on the tank an teh runners

LOL

Probably wont be fixed this year. First baby is due anytime and with a new house and completely redoing my bike, the boat will be a winter project now. It will be back out next year.

autozone sells sticker remover.... that plus a hairdryer works wonders....heat it up, spray the sticker remover on it, then peel them right off...spray more and wipe with a rag to get the remaining goo off

thats what i used to get all the stickers off our cars, and the adhesive used to attach emblems *my gt side emblems etc*

Gelcoat is more durable then clearcoat. It doesnt hurt clear it wouldnt hurt getcoat.

Use a heat gun if you can...you'll be there all day with a hair dryer. Then you an adhesive remover (3M6041) to take off any residue. If its needed you can rub up the rest of the ski to make up the difference in faded gelcoat. Then put some wax on it.

Will the 3M woodgrain and stripe remover be safe on his gelcoat? I've used it on cars over the years to remove stripes and decals, then remove leftover adhesive with 3M adhesive remover without any ill effects. You can never tell the shit was there.

Curious, have you ever tried Rapid Remover made by Rapid Tac?
