Need help for v-band welding

While I wish setting the car on fire was an option, not just yet...

Since this pretty much as to be done on the car to make sure the angle right, I was planning on tacking the v-band flanges together at the turbine, and then about 5" out from the turbine, cut the downpipe and weld in a new set of flanges for a v-band. The problem with the current location is that the v-band was always touching the header so it had a good bit of stress on it.

 

Basically what I am going to do is cut and tack this all up myself with my mig, and then hoping one of you fine fellers' can finish it up with a nice weld for me. I'll buy all the supplies needed and beer and dinner if you would like. I really can't afford $200 for a shop to do it. I'll be able to bring it by later in the evening or the weekend. Let me know if you're willing to help. Deals Gap is in 2 weeks. :(
