Ramsey Posted September 4, 2009 Report Share Posted September 4, 2009 I have a 91 f150 ext cab short bed 5.0 auto 2wd. My problem is at about 45 mph and up it vibrates pretty bad coming from the rear, it just started a couple of days ago. I have re-balanced the wheels and that didnt help and tires are like new. Could it be a mount or something broke? It feels like when you go from reverse to drive or vice versa the tranny moves aot and it makes a clank, but not like its in the tranny but the tranny itself is moving?? Ramsey Posted September 5, 2009 Author Report Share Posted September 5, 2009 took it to rob, he noticed one of the u-joints that were replaced just before i bought the truck was never greased and looks to be going out. thanks again rob, i will get it pulled so we can install the new u-joints.
