FS: '99 996 Aero - Guards Red

Thought I had this sold last week only for the buyer to flake and the other two parties that were hot on the car had already purchased other cars.

It's with a sad heart I'm listing my baby for sale. I never thought this day would come. I fully intended to own this car for the next 30+ years however my wife's battle with breast cancer has changed perspective on things.

The car:

'99 996 Factory Aero (exclusive option XAA)

Just turned 51K miles

Guards Red

Black FULL LEATHER interior w/ creasts in headrests

M030 sport suspension

Sport Design wheels (optional 8" front vs. standard 7.5' front)

Factory limited slip ('99 or '04 cars only)

CR-210 + 6 disk changer

3- spoke wheel

Litronics

small carbon package (shifter and e-brake)

Stainless door sills

Modifications:

H&R sport springs

GHL Headers and Exhaust system

B&M shifter

GT3 console delete

Bumper plugs in front

Painted rear bumperettes

OEM Non-smoker kit

All maintenance is done and up to date.

I've exclusively run Redline 5W-40 engine oil (has about 200 miles as it sits now)

Motul 600 brake fluid

Clean carfax

As some of you know I'm a professional detailer. I guarantee the presentation of this car is top notch.

This car has the factory origional RMS still in place and dry as a bone.

In the interest of full disclosure:

-Car has a small rock chip in the front windsheild that has been repaired

-Small oil leak from the valve covers. (A drip here or there on the garage floor)

-Front end was repainted by a previous owner for rock chips. There are some new rock chips present but nothing horrible. Paint work was first rate

-Small scrapes on the underside of the front bumper from a Previous owner. They have been touched up and are not obvious

-There are two small dings on the passengers side of the car. One would be a perfect candidate for PDR.

-Typical wear on seat bolsters

Price: $24,000

I can be reached here via PM or @ 614-747-0002 and more pictures can be provided upon request.

-Andy

HOLY SHIT! 25k? As i was reading the thread i fully expected 30-40k. Great price, wanna trade for my girlfriend?

Thanks man. 996 values are all over the map. Base, high mileage cars are as cheap as $18-20K, But there's two similar cars to mine on the market as high as $30-32

Priced mine to get attention and move quickly. My first buyer was only 3 days after posting it and sadly cost me two other potential buyers in the process of backing out. She'll find a good home quickly though.

25k is a GREAT price for this car.

Andy, why dont you tell Matt at Auto Assets to put it in their showroom at that price, hell i bet itd be gone in a few days.

We've discussed it a few times. I've had enough traffic on the car in the short time it's been advertised that it's not necessary yet. If it sits for a few weeks with no buyers I may put it up there.

No :(

Needs a good home. I'm trying to source stock springs to put the stock suspension back on the car. I think I'm limiting my audience with such a track focused setup under the car.

Wish i could buy it from you man! Its a beautiful car, school wouldnt allow to grab it right now! :(

I think alot of your buyers are looking at it as if it has the suspension work for the track. It must have been used at the track, that could scare some potential buyers away.

Those people should take the time to talk to Andy, he takes better care of his cars than many people take care of their kids.

Bought this to wear this month, I agree with your Avatar. Tell her to kick it's ass!

http://www.savethetatas.com/home.htm <---part of the purchases go to Breast Cancer research. They have donated more than 300k.

24k seems a steal for that car. See you in a couple of weeks again.
