hpfiend Posted September 25, 2009 Report Share Posted September 25, 2009 Hey all- Got a 99 XLT 4.0 V6 4WD explorer. What do you think about swapping in the AWD transfer case and putting twin turbos on it with megasquirt fuel injection? Probably better to start with a 5.0 AWD version and turbo it as I know the engine better but I don't currently have one of those. Anyone know what transmission I have and if it can handle any power? Nevermind- I am going to try to find an old Blazer/Jimmy and put a similar setup to Matt's with the tub/cage hidden by the SUV hatch....
