BDHG940
I have been a little out of control with all the different things I have going on and have neglected to take the time to start a build thread. I am getting all projects under control and things are coming along to get some time to start this. The car is from this board, missmy5.0 is the owner and dropped it off still with 30 day tags :-) We started from scratch and are using his car to not only build him a complete single turbo system and return to him tuned with supporting mods. The goal is only around the 425-450 per the customer request and I completely agree with his decision as its a stock bottom end car. In returns for him loaning the car, we doing all our design work, jigs/production kit from what we are building for him. Its taking a little longer than expected but what doesnt. The important part is that everything works out good and the car makes the numbers. Mods will include Single turbo kit(70mm), 2.5" stainless intercooler piping, 2.5 of manifolds into a 3" y, 3" to the turbo, 3" downpipe to catback, 38mm wastegate, 50mm bov, PMAS/On3 blow through meter setup, 39# injectors, kenny bell bap, and more Im sure I just forgetting Started with this: http://i269.photobucket.com/albums/jj77/on3p/DSC02710.jpg http://i269.photobucket.com/albums/jj77/on3p/DSC02711.jpg http://i269.photobucket.com/albums/jj77/on3p/DSC02712.jpg A little cutting/welding ended up with this: http://i269.photobucket.com/albums/jj77/on3p/DSC02626.jpg http://i269.photobucket.com/albums/jj77/on3p/DSC02627.jpg http://i269.photobucket.com/albums/jj77/on3p/DSC02625.jpg http://i269.photobucket.com/albums/jj77/on3p/DSC02631.jpg Some of the parts I had laser cut for the production kits. This is the swaybar relocation, p/s relocation bracket, intercooler support, turbo support http://i269.photobucket.com/albums/jj77/on3p/DSC02727.jpg Here is the first test fit after jigs were built off our mockup. Didnt go quite a smooth and now things are being modified, jigs adjusted and should be dead on with this next test fit(keeping fingers crossed) It was close just not quite there where I would feel comfortable running a complete production kit from http://i269.photobucket.com/albums/jj77/on3p/DSC02725.jpg http://i269.photobucket.com/albums/jj77/on3p/DSC02728.jpg More to come shortly along with some dyno numbers

Stimmel1647545512
speaking of donor cars for new kits, you can have my vert tomorrow and keep it all winter or till whenever if it comes back with a twin kit on it....
BDHG940
who says i even have a tranny in my car *shrugs* its at dans being fixed. Blow your tranny out? Cordell, its something I want to do its just a matter of time really. I have a friend dropping a 95 cobra off for a single mock up for us after this car leaves. I have another guy that wants to do a compound boost kit and put in production as well for the 03-4 guys. Im not sure if I want to get involved in that yet but I would say we can maybe talk after I knock out this 95 Cobra Stimmel, Im working on reviving the old incon twin cast manifold setup. Im in talks now getting a compressor housing done for the gt28's they use in those kits. If that works out well like I have planned, Ill try to get you hooked up if you were interested. Thats just a long term project of mine though. Thanks for the comments

Guest Removed
i have a 351 swapped car, that is screaming for a turbo set. but it would have to wait for a head change first. so it can be fitted to the right head ports.

I just did a bolt on production kit for 351 swapped foxbody cars :-) I have worked on it for some time now with a customer out in CA and turned out pretty cool. BDHG940
I dont think it would, Im pretty sure he had vic jr's on his car. its just the same flange we used as what the 5.0 kits use. Im sure I can do it, just a matter of time. Kinda have my hands full at the moment

missmy5.0
I will def have video when we go to dyno the car.
BDHG940
Yea Im sure as soon as we get the thing on the dyno there will be video for sure. Its not going to be this week but I will be everything will be reproduced and jigs changed beginning of this week so Im expecting around mid-end of the next week to have everything back together. If that goes as it should and all changed were dead on with the changes we did, we will be going to the dyno then. Its not far off, if it wasnt for us making a production setup from what we are building for him, it would be done. Its just a process and to ensure proper fitting parts, its just what I have to do. The setup is going to be cool, hell it makes me want to sell my 02 and find a rough 05+ to build for myself now :-)
