4th late night at the shop, still here but about have it wrapped up. Its running

I did 39# 03/04 injectors as they are plug and play with the 05+ cars, never noticed how noisy they are. I have a lot of photos and will post some new stuff later when I get home. Looks like Friday will be the tune and hopefully get this thing on the streets and so we can start on mocking the 94-95 sn 5.0 car kit.

I have drove it around just here at the shop, it drives out very smooth, not really any extra vibrations or anything out of the ordinary considering there is like 10 pipes that make up the full exhaust system now. only have a 5.5 spring in the gate so we will see how close it gets, should be close to 400. We will add the yellow with that but Im going to guess mid 400's with that in there. Hopefully all goes well and we get to the point where we have to worry about dialing in the boost. Im confident, hell I want one of the s197 cars now after working with this.

I think the stock spring and manual boost controller would be the best ideally but we will see what happens. the wg is easy to access so shouldnt changing springs isnt a big deal when its off the dyno.

Put it on the dyno directly from finishing it up. We have one leak on the passenger side manifold to the turbo pipe. Car was making just at 5psi and putting down like 382/402

Overall I think its very good, just like anything it was the first time the car was up and going once the kit was on. So there will be a few little things to work though but all in all its very close. Need to get that one pipe attended to and throw the small yellow spring in that wastegate and will get that 425hp target, ~7psi will be my guess

Thanks Brian Dyno Tune for the time and getting the tune in the car and ready for the streets.

It is fully spooled at 3k on the dot so its pretty low. I dont really understand becuase the exact same turbo on my 4v was not making full boost till 4k. Same displacement, I just do not get it. Only difference is this car was 2.5" i/c piping and my car is 3". Great for this car, I would just like to get my car down there as well. My car is completely leak-free and know its not because of exhaust leaks.

I really cannot remember but from what I recall, the hp was pulling all the way to redline. Ill scan and post it up here a little later when I get to my other computer

I got it Brian, thanks anyways.

Mike, pm me details on what you guys did if you had any time to play with the car. Drop by and grab that yellow spring to get it up to 7psi or just leave it out back when you are in Mexico. Ill throw the spring in it for you and see what we can do on that passenger side manifold

5psi pull
