OGRE
Kinda stoked, A guy at work bought a blown up 2007 S2000 and swapped a 08 motor into it that he got off e-bay. H asked ne to come over and tear the old motor down to see WTF went wrong. Should be fun, if i rememeber to take my camera i'll try to post a pic or 2. from what i know so far there are a couple pices of aluminum and coolant in the cat so abviously we are missing a exhaust valve or 2 LOL. OGRE
Honda said that it was due to operator error, mis shift = 9500+ RPM. It will be a lil bit till bob gets the pics off his camera. The motor dropped a valve, the piston although still there looked like hamburger and i cracked that piston sleeve. Every cylinder was scored from pieces being sucked into other intake runners and being bounced around in the other 3 holes. Funny thing we have double penetration in one exhaust valve, where the other exhuast valve moved out of it's own port and tried to move in with it's niebor. Good times. wnaplay1647545503
I would have fought that operator error claim.
