Needed - Specialized Doctor Recommendation

I have Flat Feet.... VERY BAD. My arches fell when I was in 9th Grade.

I have tried OTC Orthodics and Prescription ones as well. Neither have given much relief.

Here, lately, my ankles and knees have been hurting more, and on a daily basis. Today, I was walking / standing for a solid 3 1/2 hours, and I can now barely walk / stand.

Does anyone know of a GOOD Podiatrist in Central Ohio?

I went to Step Lively Foot and Ankle on Cleveland Ave.

Here's the dude I saw.

There are a few other centers based around Columbus.

Did they do surgery?

If so... what did they do???

He cut off my foot. I have a plastic one now.

I had went through 3 sets of orthodics. Also had a cortazone shot in my heel (that fucking sucked).

My pain finally went away after I took a different job at Chase where I'm not walking around the entire building every day.

I had plantar faciitis. (or however you spell it)

  • 2 weeks later...

Well the verdict is in. I went to a Foot & Ankle Specialist and his diagnosis is:

Bilateral peroneal tendinitis, bilateral pesplanovalgus

His recomendation is a firm / sport-like ankle braces for both feet, and a set of semi-rigid total contact foot orthotic bilateral (cork foot orthodic ;) ).

I will call tomottor to see about getting the appointment setup to get the orthodics.

He said if this does not help in 6 Months, that there are a couple of surgery options. Neither of thos sound very fun though...

We'll see!
