ghost1647545489
I purchased the Kenwood DDX514 dvd/indash player. I should be getting it this weekend and want to know what do I have to do so I can play dvds while my car is in drive. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Tony
Clifford Automotive
Just loop the parking break switch. Though you shouldnt be watching DVD's on your 17in flip down and visors, while driving down the road.
Tim Davis
I have the Kenwood KVT-512, all it required was to ground the wire that should run to the parking brake. Google DDX514 bypass and you should find tons of hits on the best way to do it.
ghost1647545489
so just take the parking break wire, and connect to the ground wire.

Rotarded1647545491
Grounding the parking brake switch works, but.......It's more than likely that when you get updated navigation discs, the software will update the programming to use the GPS sensor to detect movement. If/When this happens you will need to do an internal bypass.
