Guest Removed Posted October 29, 2009 Report Share Posted October 29, 2009 Thought the same thing but a 1.8L honda can spool it at 5k to 40psi I would think that a 5.0L would be able to spool it to 15# easy but I dunno. but at 5k, was the honda in vtec? cause then it would be moving some major air atb that point...hence why you may be spooling at 4800... starting to sound more like a waste gate leak maybe i dont know. Did this happen all of a sudden? Car feels lazy from 2k to about 3800. I am not sure about air fuel right now as I am running an open down pipe the 02 is right after the down pipe so its disconnected. I thought about the timing as well so I am gonna check that tomorrow. The car was running very consistent.Last week we, for the first time, logged some runs and found that my 2 and 3rd shifts were in the 5700-5800 range. We raised it 200 rpms and I started recording my lowest split times ever. I'm sure we can find some more things to adjust if we do some more logging. I also switched to Hoosier drag radials since my MTs were shot. Now if I can get that 60 ft down.
