I'm in the shop this morning puttering around with some projects. Since it's all heated up, if you need a warm bay to do some minor car repair, interior detailing, or the like, feel free to stop on in. No lift, only basic tools here. You can use my cleaning stuff if you need to. Because of the number of cars I have inside today, if you want to wash your car, it will need to be done outside, although you can pull it inside for drying.

I should be here until early afternoon, then plan on shooting at Black Wing with a buddy for an hour or so.

Stop by on your bike if you need a place to warm up and take a break.

The old Open House thread has directions and a map: http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=67087

Or call me to make sure I'm around: 740-405-5565

You're both welcome anytime, of course.

The Viewt is in Windsor, Ontario at the moment, but I will likely have it here in Delaware this coming Friday. Last week I drove the brave little Viewt 3000 miles across Canada, some of that through 3" snow (on summer tires).

What happened?? Sounds like a crazy trip.

Not crazy at all:

After a night of debauchery, I awoke face-down in the gravel of the shoulder of a two-lane road in the Canadian Rockies. There were few clues to how I got there, and finding four $1,000 chips marked "Regina Casino--Baccarat" in my pocket and a bullet hole in my hat didn't help my amnesia any. At least there was no tiger in the bathroom ....

Standing up and surveying the mountain vista, I realized where I was, and I recalled I had left the Viewt stored in Calgary. Driving it back home just seemed like the right thing to do ...... I had to stop at Windsor because I didn't have the title and plates with me.

I took a cab across the Ambassador Bridge (US/Canadian border). US Customs was a bit suspicious of where I had been. The officer asked me, "What's your citizenship?" I thought he had asked, "Was this a business trip?" I responded, "No, it's personal." He didn't feel that was an appropriate response to his question, but we got it all worked out. ;)

Now that I'm home, I'll take the plates/registration/title up to Windsor and bring the brave little Viewt the last 3 hours to its new home.

So you see, it's not really that crazy .....
