I don't have a military ID, I am a veteran that has separated from the armed forces....

This Veterans Day, Wednesday November 11th, join us at Roosters as we show our support for all of our troops......past, present, and future! Anyone who presents their military ID at a Roosters location on Veterans Day will receive a free $10 Cluckin' Buck as a show of our appreciation! That's it, no strings attached, just a big thank you for all that you do for us from everyone at Roosters!!!!

show ur dd214 it should work...damn it wease i was just about to post this

I got lucky, kind of. When I was Active Duty, I lost my ID, had another one printed. Then I found my first ID (you know, the one they take when you are in Basic and have no hair). So now I have two legit ones. So when I separated, I turned in the older one and kept the newer one. Granted, it's been expired for like 9+ years now, but I still use it to get out of traffic tickets and now, free food. :)

But you are correct; if you are a Veteran that did not retire or are active duty, you really shouldn't even have an ID.

If you ever go to any clubs or bars that charge cover they usually let military in for free, just an fyi if you want to use it for something else.
