Gun crew Thoughts and input.....

Off the subject i just saw the ad at the bottom of the cabela's page for the "Argentine Wingshooting." It says it's good with a purchase of a shotgun over $4000. Who the hell would spend $4000 on a shotgun?

Look up Holland and Holland firearms.

Sit down before doing so.

A friend of mine has ~ $7500 O/U 12Ga. He shoots in competitions and wins frequently. He has said in the past that he averages 1000+ Shells per week...

Actually they don't. Half the shit on their site is out of stock, including that Doublestar.

I'd rather drive halfway across the state to buy something at AIM, where I've bought shit from before and trust as one of the best shops out there, rather than deal with local FFL's to get something shipped.

There is a whole 'nother world out there, my friend ;)

This thread needs a little less ricer and H3, and a little more Bentley :)

Fox 28 gauge, krupp steel barrels, receiver in ornamental scroll which is hand inlayed in multi-colored gold, stock is carved exhibition grade marble-caked Turkish walnut. Made by American craftsmen at Connecticut Shotgun.

Like a light sabre, "a more elegant weapon, from a more civilized age."

Plenty of people. I'm going to drop $3K on a 1911, I have no problem in doing so.

PS-GREAT example Doc. That shotgun is worth every cent IMO.

I got my Citori when I was 16 and I have put ~200,000 rounds through it

Would your friend's name happen to be Bill Lemon? He is probably the best clays shooter in Columbus, shoots Master Class.

Plus one for buying from AIM, but call ahead to make sure their walk-in counter is open again. I haven't bought anything that didn't come by mail since the Panic, so for all I know it may still be closed. I've got a C&R, so it's easier for me to get it shipped than to try to get an afternoon off from work to drive down.

EDIT: OK, apparently my Mom's fucking piece of shit Mac has a long memory for passwords, cause this was posted by my brother, Avenger.
