cage is all painted and the wheels are painted as well.

car got wired up last night and fired right up but I dont have any gauges go figure. So once i figure that out i just need an alignment, new intake and a retune and we should be ready for this weekend.

My word ive been slacking on this.

heres stuff i never updated here,

got the hydro remounted and all the gauges mounted back into the car. for the longest time I wasn't getting any tach or RPM or any lighting on the tach or RPM. just the signal lights and I got that resolved there was ground that i missed behind the dash.

Seats go back in today along with harness. bringing the car for an alignment tomorrow along with filling up my 55 gallon drum of e85 for the weekend.

well i thought I was done with this car but it looks like its time for a wide body.

and this is the reason why.

http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b107/2zumeunos/SC300/winter%2009/b1bc1fce.jpg

fuck your wall.

LCA is bent to beyond but other than that its still good to go. decided to not run because the car kept throwing serpentine belts and it took all i had to save this time from being a head on collision.

So the cars fixed and working well again, I had to replace the lower control arm, upper control arm, Steering rack, and get the knuckle strengthened just to be safe there. I still need to try and find a new heim joint for the Supernow Tie rods because the one on that side is a bit loose now.

I got the correct spacers for the alternator now so theirs no more belt walk. Also if you remember me talking I was told to put my AC back in to triangulate the powersteering pump, thats not going to happen any time soon but Accelerated performance makes a bracket to triangulate it for $180. that's ridiculous for a rod with 2 heim joints IMO so I went to jegs and came up with this for $45 after tax.

on top of all that, Im getting ready to order the new rear over fenders and front fenders. once they are imported ill go to Chicago to pick them up and stop by Touge factory to get the rest of my body peices. Im so stoked. Wheels will be up next in the list.

obviously plans have changed.

Ill just leave this here. DEAL WITH IT.

any news, winter is officially here with the snow so time to do work. Plans this winter are to clean up the engine bay, gold foil the fire wall, redo the back half of the exhaust, Daizen Front and rear sways, Rear upper camber arms, Battle version toe, and traction arms, put on the ridge kit, paint , and a better fuel setup. I was never pleased with the way my setup worked and now im doing it the way i want to.

so as of today, Ive added Supra TT calipers in the rear, Hawk HP+ all the way around, Brembo Blank rotors, Daizen sways front and rear and then pulled the engine to swap fuel rails.

First things first, Im cutting the spare tire well out of the trunk and putting some aluminum paneling down to replace it, the fuel setup is planned to be like this: Twin walbro 255 in tank feeding -6 an lines to a 2 gallon swirl pot, twin -8 lines come out feeding modified Bosch 044 external pumps feeding a -8AN y to -10AN fuel line to a -10 Aeromotive fuel filter which will then go to the front of the car once in the front it will go into a -10 to -8 y block again and it will feed the dual feed fuel rail, the return system will be all -8 lines feeding through an aeromotive a1000 fuel regulator which will return back to the swirl pot and then back to the tank. All lines will be Teflon lined hose so E85 is no issue for it. I know this fuel setup will be over kill but when running e85 you need more fuel and I plan on using it soon.

bought stuff to start on the new exhaust for the new bumper. the bumper is converted from duals to a single outlet so time to redo the back half of that. plan as it stands on that is basicly the 4' downpipe to a Vibrant 18" long resonator to a burns stainless muffler with a tip welded on it, should be a gnarly sounding exhaust when its done. Im pretty glad im redoing my exhaust, when I let jon adams drive my car at beaver run it was a little disappointing with how quiet it is on the track although sounded good!

since i kinda stopped updating this, heres what you all missed.

Ok so Ive been trying to install my new upper arms and i have to drill the upper knuckle to sleeve it for the new arms to work. turns out the arm is strong as hell and ive destroyed 2 bits and barley got anywhere. So im taking my knuckles to my machinist and have him do it. at least ill know its done precision straight and what not. I suppose while its there ill have him make brackets so I can mount up a second caliper and re do my hydro setup while im there.

When pulling off my knuckles though I found that my rear lower control arm has alot more play in the ball joint so its either time for custom lower arms, Ikeya formulas or some Eau Rouge lower arms. I could always pull the arms off the parts car for the time being but I think id rather just go solid arms since im getting battle version arms soon.

other than that I put the new fuel rail on my car now im just waiting for parts to arrive.

ok soo alot of updates here, I know I just put on these battle version arms and what not but it looks like ill be changing them out again some time in the near future. I have worked a deal with another company to send all my stock arms to them and get some prototype arms made for use. for the SC300, there are not any options inside the united states if you want upper control arms, lower arms etc, you have to go to japan to get them, not any longer.

Also I have worked up a sponsorship deal with them to use all of their arms and help promote their company once its in ink ill make that announcement

on top of all that I have ordered the rest of my fuel setup, materials for the swirl pot will be here Monday, fuel lines should be here Tuesday or Wednesday. also when I was doing the fuel rail the wiring harness became brittle around the cam sensor and the plug broke off so I placed an order for all new harness plugs to fix any aged and cracked plugs.

Yesterday I removed all the stock fuel lines, pulled the tank so i can have the bulkhead welded onto it and drop it back in. Also to move forward with the fuel setup I wanted to delete the spare tire well so i removed that and make a delete plate, currently its riveted into place however it will be welded in place shortly. Ill be having a brace made underneath it as well that ties into the frame rail to act as a jacking point for the rear.

pictures in no specific order. once the fuel setup is completed ill move onto the exhaust, then its going to be fitting the widebody and cutting out shit.

Also I was told by my other sponsor that they don't like some things on my car and they will be changing them out specifically a new intake setup and catch can

may not look like much but thats part of the fuel system. -10 PTFE line and fittings and material for the fuel swirl pot.

Im not super excited about the PTFE line that came to me as it looks like it got kinked in quite a few places. It will probably be fine but im still worried about it.

Ive got all my -8 an hose on the way and it will be here thursday along with the rest of my fuel fittings.

cant wait to see what the outcome of this whole thing will be. its going to look awesome!

just got to get all the nipples welded to it, weld the tube to the base and then get it anodized and then finish welding it all up.

alright, you have me baffled. Why would you pump fuel to another tank then put more pumps out of that little tank? at that point you could just have got a baffled fuel cell and had one weldon/multiple aeromotives do the same work.

I am not saying it doesnt make sense, i am saying I dont understand why you did it this way. Can you help me understand?

That's a fuel surge tank. With that way it's setup is essentially at all times that is a full fuel tank even when the pump in the Main tank isn't supplying fuel ill have a good flow of fuel. In a normal street or drag car this setup is useless however in a drift car which is constantly changing directions this is very helpfull.

Waiting on a 2.5 to2.75 45 degree coupler and then the setup is done. I need to mount the oil cooler, ps cooler, ps res and I'm ready to fire it up. Once it runs I need to do some hood ducting/ front end ducting and have some fun!
