cinergi Posted February 22, 2010 Report Share Posted February 22, 2010 They just send a multiple purchase form to the ATF for notification purposes. May not be any issue on the first order but several in a year may get you flagged. Incorrect, but close. If you buy more than two handguns in a five day period the FFL you buy it from is required to report to ATF on a multiple handgun paperwork which is then faxed into the NICS building. Unless they've changed it in the last year, handguns bought at different locations do not get reported, nor do multiple long guns. The governmenatal agencies sure got that right.
