Phone help please

I am up for upgrade soon and am trying to deside what kind of phone I want. I really like the HTC touch pro2 and the motorola driod. Which phone is better? Any sugresstions would be great! I DO NOT want another blackberry!

I also hear that the battery life on the droid is really low...

 

Only if you run brightness 100%, wifi, gps, bluetooth, syncing 5x email accounts, and 30 background apps running all day.

 

Otherwise, its pretty good.

 

One site did a review specifically on the battery life of the Droid. For the study, the Droid screen brightness was maxed out, the screen was set to 'Never Sleep', MP3's were loaded and the media player was turned on to 'Repeat All Songs'. They even threw in an hour of Google Navigation usage while all of that was going on and still managed over 7 hours of battery life. Let's see your old flip-phone do that.

 

PS: If you get one new from the store, it will be a week or so before the battery life stables out. This is true for a lot of phones though.

I got the home dock for it and my Droid runs all day no problem... when I go to bed, I dock it and it acts as my alarm clock all night... (I have brightness turned all the way up, and all bells and whistles on) so as long as you charge it every night, you'll never have a battery life issue.

HTC is a lot better. Only thing that would want you to get the Motorola over the HTC is the fact that it has a hardware keyboard and the HTC has a soft keyboard.
