unfunnyryan
Is it still misfiring? Are the plugs gapped right?

s13
gapped at .44 which is what advance said to gap them. The misfire isnt so noticeable. Its more like the truck hits a brick wall. no miss at idle and them when i get on it, it just takes a shit. It also blew 2 vacuum lines off that feed exhaust back into the intake manifold. Guest Removed
um if its blowing the dpfe hoses off, then the cat is clogged. is this a 4.2L truck or a triton?

Sully
Definitely sounds like clogged cats to me. Had the same issue with my last truck. When I gave it gas, it would fall flat on it's face. Cats were clogged.
