In their defense, I'll probably be looking buy a trailer in the somewhat near future. We're looking at buying some land and putting a trailer on it.

I noticed on several of the free cycle sites around me of people asking for free cars that run. I see times are tough, but does anybody have a free running car to give away or in this case even a mobile home?

The world is full of free cars that DON'T run...

Trailers are interesting, they are dirt cheap now and you can move them.

But somebody needs to invent how to weld them to the ground so they stay put.

it can be done but it gets pricey.... I don't know about free but there are places to get them dirt cheap....
