Earache
Think we can get a picture that one of us took from all 50 states? Doesn't have to be bike related, but bikes in the pic make it that much better. It needs to be a picture that you took.I'll start, here's Alaska (no bikes, it was cold)...Iowa (not many people go there to ride)...Oregon ...Be fun to see if there's a state that none of us have visited.EDIT - States posted:1 - Alaska 2- Iowa 3 -Oregon 4 -Idaho 5 -Montana 6 -New Mexico 7 -Florida 8 - Ohio (duh) 9 - Wisconsin 10 -Kentucky 11 - Illinois12 - Colorado13 - Indiana14 - Michigan15 - Arizona16 - Texas17 - South Carolina18 - Virginia19 - Tennessee20 - North Carolina21 - Wyoming22 -South Dakota23 - Georgia24 - Utah25 - New York26 - New Hampshire27 - Vermont28 - Massachusetts29 - Pennsylvania30 - Maine31 - Nevada32 - California33 - Hawaii34 - West By God Virginia35 - Alabama36 - Louisiana Edited February 22, 2009 by Earache
Earache
I was going to take a pic in front of the "Welcome to..." signs that I passed on bike trips. That idea lasted for about 3 signs.Idaho, Montana and New Mexico...

Fonzie
Cool idea Eric! Though.....I think we're gonna need that image resizer for this thread I can cover South Dakota, Nevada, Utah, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Wisconsin, Chicago & the U.P......All on bikes Welcome back to September, 1981 folks....That's me in the middle.......10 years old/5th grade (wearing my Steeler's jacket ), with my dad & one of his best friends. Mom's takin' the pictures. The sidecar w/ the red helmet was where I rode the whole trip. Pretty cool....My dad hooked up a speaker for me so I could listen to the stereo too, + it had a flip up canopy that snapped on for when it was raining. Attached to a 1980 Suzuki GS1000G w/ the full Vetter touring package. Dad's buddy Chuck, had the GoldWing & was pulling a rental trailer with all the camping supplies & bags for us. We rode from Toledo to Needles, California (just across the border) & back in 2 weeks. Got to see Boys Town (NO...They didn't leave me there ), Mt. Rushmore, Wall Drug, Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon, Hoover Dam, Arch of St. Louis, & ride through the Black Hills & Mojave Desert. We were supposed to go to Yellowstone, but they were already snowed under, and it was "chains only" advisory. We didn't think chains would work too good on the bikes, so we detoured. Went out across the northern plains states, & came back home across the south. Here we are crossing into Nevada. Back of dad's bike on the left.....Great Salt Lake, Utah. And yeah....I drank some of the water Fast forward to present day Here's part of the DTC chillaxin' with Booker Noe at Jim Beam's American Outpost in Clermont, KY, this past October. You can just see the bikes behind Kyle's arm on the left....Navy Pier in Chicago, from the "Loopin' the Lake" Michigan trip, June 2007.........John Hancock Building. Friday afternoon during ChyTown rush hour......More Chicago skyline..........Bublitz's restaurant, just north of Milwaukee, WIBreakfast @ Bublitz's......Slippin "Fast" Eddy the tongue Had 10 of us for this leg of the ride. Jeff, on Sam's left, rode with us from Chicago to Elkhart for the AMA races that day. All these guys are from my XX boards......Mackinac Bridge from the U.P side.......Alpena Yacht Club on Lake Huron........Other way @ AYC, facing Lake Huron.......Pittsburgh skyline in Heinz Field parking lot, from the Pitt Stop trip this past August.........Facing the stadium @ the corner of Art Rooney & Gene Robinson.........
