Doug1647545489
A few of you asked for some pics from when I started working on my bonus room and turning it into a little home theater. It's about half way there. All that's left over is some wire management, new theater seating, and acoustic wall treatment. It's not perfect, but it's great for watching the races every sunday and for movies. http://i45.tinypic.com/35bt36t.jpg http://i47.tinypic.com/2eozk1g.jpg http://i46.tinypic.com/15s4ll2.jpg Oh and nothing is really high end, but it does look and sound amazing watching a blu ray. Doug1647545489
It's a Mr. Slim HVAC. unit. The bonus room (only room upstairs) is above the garage so the room needs it's own hvac system. If it were tied into the primary hvac system it would be hot as hell (or cold) upstairs since the thermostat is downstairs. It's actually a pretty cool unit, silent and does a good job regulating the room temp.
nurkvinny
Badass. We have an attic area that we were thinking of making into a 4th bedroom. I think I know what the space will be now.
unfunnyryan
Looks very comfy in there, which I believe is more important than some high-end aspects of a home theater. You should get some dim accent lighting that wont interfere with the view of the screen, to make it easier to eat and etc while watching. Doug1647545489
A second light on its own switch behind the projector is going in next week. There won't be as much direct light on the screen when it's on. This projector is a light cannon so it's not too bad with all the lights on. For the best black levels you need to have the room dark though.

Doug1647545489
106" screen. Looks kinda small in the pics, but it looks huge in person. Perfect for the viewing distances. Projector was from HHgreg. Screen online.
