iwashmycar
It actually is pretty ugly, as far as Vettes go. But as far as a more concept looking car goes, its got its cool parts
Habitual Sinner
It's ugly as hell. The vents on the side and no bumpers kill the car. Would have been cool if it was converted to mid engine and left appearing stock.

zeitgeist57
Totally wrong wheel/tire combo. Needs more rubber. Also, suspension is set too high...
Habitual Sinner
Was the Corvette not good enough as it was? Why would you even bother doing this to one? Complete abomination of the Corvette legend if you ask me.
Science Abuse
Was the Corvette not good enough as it was? No, it wasn't. It was meant to compete with the influx of overseas sportscars (why it only had a V6 in its first year), and it sucked at it. The stingrays handled almost as shittily as the muscle cars.... because they were muscle cars. Put a 427 on one end of a slab of fiberglass and see what happens. A "world class sports car", it was not. The wheels are completely wrong, and it does indeed sit too high. But the styling is spot on fore a mid-engine 60's supercar. The shape had to change to get the engine/tranny in the back. Some one photoshop this a bit lower with some period-accurate wheels: http://images8.ecarlist.com/photos/1406_431861/640/02.jpg Like this guys stance and wheels: http://www.the904store.com/904-6.jpg That's who the mid-engine Vette would have been competing against. Habitual Sinner
The shape had to change to get the engine/tranny in the back. I think it would lookk good if it wasn't for the vents and lack of bumpers. A roof scoop would have even looked better than the vents IMO. Draco-REX
can't put my finger on it but there is something about it that doesn't look right. +1 I'm all for vents and intakes... And I can see how the proportioning was changed.. But it just doesn't come together. I think it ran off a cliff straight into the Uncanny Valley of cars.
