87GT
If you can't drive a car without power steering it better be because you lost a arm/hand in an accident or war.
Nitrousbird
Suck it, fags. Hmmm, car accelerating out of control, or a steering wheel that is a little harder to turn at UNDER 15 MPH. I wonder which one is more dangerous.
Farkas
The company that makes the steering boxes is a part of Toyota...Go figure. Shut. the. fuck. up. Somehow it comes back to Toyota, and it's their fault.

copperhead
I'd like to point out that now Ford is now outselling both GM and Toyota here in America.

Mallard
+1 Most of the electronic shit now used to be mechanical and worked fine when it was. At least if it didn't it was a lot easier to fix than now. Part of me thinks we're just over engineering everything for no reason at all at this point. They're doing it because it gains fuel economy. You'll be seeing all cars going this direction.
HotCarl
Must be nice to fuck up at your job and put peoples life at risk then just issue a recall on your stupidity. Yes because lord know's its impossible to drive without power steering right?

Farkas
http://www.businessweek.com/lifestyle/content/feb2010/bw20100225_403524.htm I had a feeling something like this was the case in many of the reports. "Congress should reconvene the hearings in Salem, Mass. They could tie a Toyota to a long pole and dunk it into Beverly Harbor. If the Toyota sinks, then Congress will find the company guilty of all charges. But if the Toyota floats, we'll find the automaker innocent. This should be done in real time to get the maximum TV audience; although the outcome would, again, be predetermined, it should still be a ratings grabber."
