04silvrz Posted March 22, 2010 Report Share Posted March 22, 2010 hey guys, my truck seems to just randomly fluctuate sometimes, like it will just bounce to like 1,100 RPM then back down to 500. it never dies, and it doesn't do it all the time. my thought is a vacuum leak or something? ponyjr1647545514 Posted March 22, 2010 Report Share Posted March 22, 2010 Definitely sounds like a vac line or a IAC. listen under the hood for a leak, and check lines for cracking/dry rot.If you can't find anything try taking off the IAC and clean it up, i clean my jeeps every once in a while, use carb cleaner.
