He is a V8, NA type of guy and had a 72 vega with small block 350 in it with a turbo 350 tranny and the thing was flawless, but had to get rid of it due to some personal reasons, but now its time for a new toy. I was just wondering if anyone had any inputs on which model we should look for. We know the difference between the 04 and 05 years, but is one really better than the other? also i hear the after market for the LS1 is a lot better than the LS2 and he wants to do the basic bolt ons. I think he should go with the 04 spend a lil less on the car and use the money for the mods. So any inputs would be appreciated. EDIT - and yes, there are several companies that sell kits to modify the 04 rear bumper cover to accept driver and passenger side exit exhaust (or, buying an 05 cover, obviously is an option). But even so my NA LS1 will still kick it's ass. No problem fixing up an 04 for us seniors ...
