dover
A little low I'd have thought 430-450rwhp with those mods..
Guest Removed
stock heads, fresh 02 motor, ls6 intake. 3" exhaust (single) ms3 cam http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y196/gearhead559/red%20mess/rx7graph.jpg ported heads, i figure should be a bit better then that IMO. just sayin I think erik 24/7 made that with a stock ls1 with nothing but a cam. see above

V8 Beast
Look at the cam he's working with... also looks like a pretty safe tune. Like gearhead said he could squeeze a little more out of it but 385 is a good number. Edit.. I just noticed he has headers... It should make at least 400. I'm curious to see whats causing the power loss.
Sam1647545489
My ls6 motor in my zo6 with a g5x-3 cam and long tubes and untouched heads made 420 rwhp.

By the time I paid for head studs, gaskets, parts, labor, over 3k for the motor mods was not worth the estimated 60 horse I gained over a stock ls1 What kind of power loss can be expected due to it being an auto car?? 2 Sweet
Is it just me or is the tq numbers a little low?
flat tire
I think the cam is what is killing the power and the auto
BlackMess
What are the specs on these heads?? 99crb600
even with this car being an auto i see no reason why car shouldnt be making atleast 410!
BlackMess
I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks theres a problem. The shop who assembled the motor and put their name on the heads assured me this was excellent power for the motor........ Are the 918 springs sufficient for .640 lift???
