Mark1647545493
In good condition. I've had it about a year. Great for a mini reef tank. Has night lights, also Atenic blue and a full spectrum white light. I have some rock and corral that will come with the tank. $150 obo http://img15.imageshack.us/img15/8522/img00150200907211319.th.jpg http://img688.imageshack.us/img688/3800/biocube02.th.jpg http://img718.imageshack.us/img718/7055/biocube01.th.jpg http://img534.imageshack.us/img534/3779/1001402w.th.jpg http://img405.imageshack.us/img405/5886/1001401.th.jpg

KillJoy
Does it have much "salt water tank" residue on/in it? KillJoy
Mark1647545493
It has some residue that could be cleaned up mostly on the inside lip of the lid and around the light. The tank has only had saltwater in it.

Rustlestiltskin
come with filter or anything else?
Mark1647545493
The filter system is built into the back of the tank. To get the tank started you would need salt, water, gravel or sand for the bottom (but not necessary) and fish.

Drewhop
This is a amazing price for this setup. I know of another setup almost identical going for double that price.
Chad is Dead
how hard is it to maintaine for a begginer w/ salt water...girlfriend was talking about getting some fish and this sounds like a good set up for me.
Mark1647545493
I'll take the tank outside tomorrow and snap some better pictures. Saltwater tanks are easy. I can give some of my sand and water to help get this tank started. You have to keep the glass clean and do partial water changes just like with freshwater. It's gets a little more tricky when you want to do a reef tank instead of a fish only tank. This tank has the proper lighting to maintain a mini reef. SpaceGhost
Thank you. When full do you think a kid could push it over?
Mark1647545493
Thank you. When full do you think a kid could push it over? When the tank is full of water and rock I would estimate it weighing in at around 115Lbs. It would take a lot of work for a young child to push it over. My German Shepard ran into the stand at almost full speed and didn't knock it over.
ImUrOBGYN
Thank you. When full do you think a kid could push it over? Well, just with water, not counting the weight of the tank and/or stand: 14*8=112lbs Plus, you'll probably have at least 10-15lbs of rock/sand anchoring the bottom. I'd love to pick this up if I had the money/space.
ImUrOBGYN
how hard is it to maintaine for a begginer w/ salt water...girlfriend was talking about getting some fish and this sounds like a good set up for me. As long as you set it up properly and maintain proper water chemistry, you'll be ok. If you do want to start a saltwater, you'll want to 'age' the tank. I've always recommended to start with cheap damselfish for at least 3 months before adding in any other, ie; more expensive fish. Damsels are cheap and hardy and a good way to cycle the aquarium.
