Main3s Posted April 29, 2010 Report Share Posted April 29, 2010 I'm running too, if you get there early enough you can start at the beginning of the line and actually run/ jog instead of walking around all the dogs and kids... And Since it's for a good cause I'll mention that there will be people down there selling Dispatch Newspapers. The proceeds go to the Komen foundation; the cool part about it is that we will be printing the dispatch on pink paper that day in support of the race. HotCarl Posted April 30, 2010 Report Share Posted April 30, 2010 I would but we a few adult league hockey teams i know are running a tourny for breat cancer called "hockey beats down breast cancer" that weekend. We had the inagural game last year and it was a huge success despite being thrown together in 3 weeks, this time there was so much interest the one game turned into a tournement with 8 teams. $75 per person so we should make a sizeable donation all while having fun for a good cause.
