He signed a multi-million dollar contract after 1989, and he was still driving his 81 Escort until injuries in 92 made it difficult for him to shift...so he traded it for a used 91 Escort, and was still driving that when he tried a comeback with the Reds in 96. I don't think he's pointing out income or that he's a CEO but if so that's a lame income for a CEO Overall though 186k is good money but not huge.
