Mensan
Eric's thread inspired me to post this. Pretty cool. BITCHIN FIERO
cinergi
It's neat, but 40K? I guess I can see that if it is indeed the only survivor and most probably have been ragged out.
ImUrOBGYN
My favorite part: "A perfect 10, and with G.M. announcing that they are discontinuing the Pontiac line completely, destined to go up in value tremedously (some say to 6 digit figures in the next 10 years or less!)" 6 digits? I don't know about that.
Forrest Gump 9
It will go up in value in thirteen years, because in thirteen years it will be qualify as "classic car".

OSUGT
pretty cool stuff...since its still on MSO it doesnt have an in service date. I wonder if its still under factory warranty??? LOL
35RFTW
I had a Maroon 87 GT. Cool when I was 16. No way ANY fiero is/was/will be worth $40k.
craig71188
But you must read the fine print - it includes oil changes for life!!! Also in the fine print are instructions to call for special internet pricing and discounts for non-profits & charities.......but you do have to pay an extra $50 document fee. Wonder what that nets it down to "out the door"?
verse
pretty cool stuff...since its still on MSO it doesnt have an in service date. I wonder if its still under factory warranty??? LOL This is the question. lol Kind of funny if it was still under warranty b/c it technically goes by your in service date.

Mr. Jones
Got rid of our 88GT a year or so. It was fun in hocking.
Crossle
It's an Automatic...like most were It has a sunroof...like most did It's red....not one of the rarest colors 40K? Maybe if it was Yellow or Blue, in a manual with T-Tops or a hard top. That is still a huge maybe. It is certainly cool though!
Farkas
Nobody will buy it, still.
2 Sweet
Way overpriced, but I looooove those cars
Science Abuse
That dealer wrote a few checks in that description, especially the one about value appreciation. Buy it an sue them when it doesn't fetch anywhere near what they told you, in writing, it would.
skruffy
So, if the value is going nowhere but up (to six figures in the next ten years no less!), why wouldn't this dealer keep such a fool proof investment? What was that thing new, $10-12k or so?
Science Abuse
I'd only pay $40,000 for a Fiero Reventon: http://blog.niot.net/blog-images/08_Aug/ultimate-fiero-resurrection-lamborghini-reventon-replica.jpg

Skinner
I say its worth 20k wonder if it still has the new car smell
SpaceGhost
Those cars new were 17k, the price was almost as much as a firebird. It got too expensive and GM pluued the plug. My 88GT was a hard top 5spd. Loved it. Engine let go at 150k.
Sparky
So you're sayin I can buy a New car with 221 miles that needs a complete suspension refresh because all of the rubber is probably dried and cracking.....for 40 grand? And it hasn't sold yet?
oh8sti
that car will never sell. I would say its maybe worth mid teens....thats a maybe.
