thorne
Cliffs. I took the outback into some fun shit today. I got a flat after going through the mud holes and I hit a stump or something. Tossed the spare on . Road around with jeep guys and decided I now need a fucking Lifted outback. Here's pics of the car after we tossed the spar on. With all the 4x4's in the background. I'll toss up pics of the car before we wash it tommorow. http://www.40roll.com/fun/IMG_0319.JPG http://www.40roll.com/fun/IMG_0318.JPG Thanks for having me out guys. and that red rubicon fucking owns. [imurObgyn Story] So Christian had told me about this private land that he went off roading with some jeep guys. I told him I would love to check it out. So we took the outback and wrx to this spot. Mike took us in the "cool way" so I could see what it was like and if i wanted to take my subaru back there. Well my WRX could not get in the awesome way. But after taking a ride in mike jeep back there I felt the outback could do it. I made it all the way in the woods/creek route (Fuck creek crossing how about driving down them to climb up a hill). I was driving around in the clearing have some fun in the outback. Then I took it through the mud hole. No problem. Turn around and go back. As I'm coming out I got a flat . Tossed the spare on. I snapped a couple pics I plan on going back but I'm changing a few things on the outback for it. Mike if your on here shoot me a pm! I had a blast and I have a new respect and understanding of "OFFROADING" I would also love to find a cheap beater to play with back there. TurboRust
be careful on replacing just one tire on that thing.. suby's transfer cases are super picky on tread depth/rolling diameter differences between the tires.

thorne
Ehhhhhh well. I'm sure the subbie (Wifes) got a couple scratches. We went through the woods. It's private land so I don't know. Like buffable ones not gauges.
cinergi
be careful on replacing just one tire on that thing.. suby's transfer cases are super picky on tread depth/rolling diameter differences between the tires. I used to sell tires and always told people the same thing. I have owned several and didn't replace a set of four on purpose to see what would happen. Never had a single issue on them. I did keep the same tire type, but never replaced all. Put more than 30K miles on each Scooby and never had an issue. That being said, I never tried this with my outback as it's always kept the same four on.

Bahnstoermer1647545488
LOL, ya'll will do more damage to those cars than it's worth. Buy a POS vehicle to four wheel. I know you'll disagree, but I've learned the lesson about four wheeling your daily, let alone a car with overhangs like that LOL. $1000 Samuri! RMTC
I'll make a meet thread next time I arrange a group. Probably will be within the next few weeks. Get ur outback ready and I expect a certain rav to be out there also..... I just ran my jeep through our car wash with the top and doors off. It worked surprisingly well getting christian's pee and bill's muddy foot prints out of the interior.

You'll be fine. There are some places that such a long vehicle will have problems getting, however. That's all. On another note, I'm gonna bring this.
