extra weight of that huge paper weight of a motor + drive train + rear end= prob just as fast as a built type r motor.....

Odd its never down...... matter of fact I drove it to work today too... so that won't work.

First thought that runs through my head:

 

Wow, an 8.0L 400hp motor...hurray......

 

i don't typically agree with jones but i have to here. there's no way anyone is going to pay the money it would cost for the correct body panels for that car. you're basically paying $10k for a 15 year old drivetrain with 70k miles on it. 70k HARD miles. i'd pretty much pretend i never saw the auction and move on. many, many more cheaper drivetrains out there that are much more easily and cheaper to rebuild/modify/retrofit. but, i guess if you wanted to be unique, this is what you could do. a one-armed hooker is also pretty 'unique', but i'm pretty sure i'd steer clear of that
