Ramsey
Did a mistake by almost running out of gas and being forced to put 4 gallons of speedway gas in and now the car is running like shit. I filled up with vpower after about 45 miles of speedway shit and have driven about 20 and it is still running like shit. oh seeing like 17.5-18.0 air fuels or worse at idle and cruising. wtf is going on? what should i do? Rhett
May be over looked, but how old is your fuel filter? I changed mine the other day in my 96 Jeep and OMG what a difference. May be something to check, them run Sea Foam

Dave1647545494
sounds like maybe the filter got clogged or the f/p got hoed by being run low on fuel
Guest 614Streets
check fuel pressure. may have shocked the hot pump with cold gas
ICEMAN1647545504
Maybe the regulator went bad or the fuel pump. I had that happen.
Ramsey
whats the best way to check fuel pressure, pump?
Ramsey
could the fuel have fouled plugs?
Miller
Ramsey do you not have an fp gauge on the rail?
Benner
could the fuel have fouled plugs? seriously doubt speedway gas would foul the plugs instantly like that. They'd be out of business. Like others said check the filter. Probably picked up some sediment off the bottom of the tank when you ran it so low.
Ramsey
Ramsey do you not have an fp gauge on the rail? pulled it, hot side parts were real close.

Ramsey
Put a gauge on there man. You need one. is there a better spot to put one? that is right next to the turbo and shit.
ICEMAN1647545504
You should be able to mount it on the fuel rail.
Dave1647545494
his fitting might be on the high pressure line instead of the rail...... can you get a test guage on there long enough to just check? pressure should be like 35-40psi key on engine off
ruinms
if it fouled the plugs it would be a rich a/f not a lean one. seems like low fuel pressure or volume.
Alex L.
A1000 FPR + pressure gauge.
BDHG940
I have a fp tester, if you want to use it drop by the shop. We had it rigged up to my fox and I still have most of the fittings. Ill gather the stuff up if you wanted to use it
