88lx5oh
this.. Yamaha FJR 1300.. all i can say is wow! what a machine, tons of power, tons of luggage, and a great comfortable ride.. handles the touring duties much better than the VFR. i kept my krauser top case to put on the FJR, it already came with the hard bags but no top box, but already installed it so im ready to go. http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p301/hoblick/IMG_0414.jpg http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p301/hoblick/IMG_0415.jpg http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p301/hoblick/IMG_0416.jpg http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p301/hoblick/IMG_0417.jpg http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p301/hoblick/IMG_0406.jpg http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p301/hoblick/IMG_0407.jpg http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p301/hoblick/IMG_0408.jpg

You can't dip a goldwing into a corner like u can this bike...
Guest tbutera2112
You can't dip a goldwing into a corner like u can this bike... yes you can...theres a guy on OR that goes out and runs at the front of the group with any sport bike on the road plus, he said on OR that he has no interest in hitting any twisties and stuff on the streets anymore, that he ONLY wants the bike as a touring bike ...thats why i asked for an all around bike ide take the FJ without thinking twice...but if i was looking for a touring only bike that i was gonna go long distances on, etc...ide get the wing...they have a lot more comforts on them than the FJ does
Trouble Maker
Nice looking bike. There is a couch on the back of that thing for your wife to sit on!! The info I'm seeing leads me to think ~300mi/tank? You'll be able to get some touring done on that thing.
88lx5oh
its got a 6.6 gallon tank and supposed to get 40 mpg id says roughly 230 - 250 miles to a tank i will soon see how it does on a long haul.. we are doing a 9 day bike adventure here soon. 88lx5oh
Next upgrade thread will have the letters BMW involved somewhere me thinks. i wish.... i cant afford a BMW love to have one, but cost wise a FJR, ST, or Concourse is a better bang for the buck
