Ferrari F430

One of our customers brought us his F430 Ferrari. He was basically looking to change the rims up just a bit and step up to 20's along with something with a lip. Once we had a design picked out, Kyle called up the guys at Asanti to custom make us a set of 3 piece wheels specifically for this car.

Here are some before pics.

It is kind of one of those situations where the pics dont do it justice. I agree that in the pics the stock wheels look really good. In person, the stock wheels look sort of cheap on the car and the new wheels fill out the wheel wells a lot better than the stock units did. Overall tire diameter is the same as with the stock units while the new wheels are quite a bit wider than the stock ones. Personally, I would have had a touch of black on them versus the satin finish, but in the end, it is completely up to the customer as to which way they want to go.

A little taller tire would of been nice but clearence's are so-tight and this car has active suspension so it squats as it accelerates. So we decided to stay with the stock tire diameter front to back. (PLAYED IT SAFE)......

I personally like the Asantis! The stockers don't do it for me. Can't wait to see the other vehicles I heard about in the shop.

Thanks Scott. Yeah, we are not getting much love on here with the new rims. We were all laughing about it in the shop this morning. The response on here is pretty much the exact opposite of what everyone that saw the car in person thought. I can see what everyone is saying from the pics. The darker lighting and shadows from how the factory wheels tucked back in kind of hide how the stockers actually fit in the pictures. No sweat though, everyone is entitled to an opinion.

Taking the stock wheels off of an exotic like that is stripping the car of half its identity. :( Not to mention, the wheels he took off are still worth double what he probably paid for those Asantis.

Sorry, not my cup of tea.

I think this is one of those cases where the owners bought a Ferrari not because they are enthusiasts, but because its a status symbol. Asanti wheels on a sports car should explain it all. They are luxury wheels.

stock wheels ftw in this case but the customer is the boss when it comes down to business and everyone has there own taste, but they look like they belong on an impala or the like. they are to big and to much bling for a ferrari. I bet the lambo will look better suited with the black ones. Lambos are pretty common for bling wheels, dont see many ferrari's with aftermarket rims. Still a very nice ride.
