Need some body work advice

My car has rust nowhere accept the 2 main subaru places, at the top and bottom of the lip of the wheel arches. I need the messed up parts cut out and I need new metal welded in. I am looking to get this done relatively inexpensively. I am not looking to get the paint matched or anything like that, I just need the rust stopped. Its a rally car, not a trailer queen. I would settle for roughly grafted into place and primered over. I would even try giving it a go myself, but I don't have a welder, and I am not going to pop rivet a piece of metal in (although major props, jeffro).

If maaco does cheap paint jobs, do they do cheap bodywork? I assume they have different quality levels like they do with paint.

Not sure if they do or not. Though Maaco only did paint.

 

Any welding students want to practice on my car?
