There are many things that aren't "supposed" to work in theory, but in practice it is just fine. I was more wondering if there would be a real world difference in signal quality. Good protection and no "death grip" (not that I had an issue wit it before). Adds maybe a bit more thickness that I'd like but is a worthwhile tradeoff for the added protection.
