Stampede
A friend has it, we can't get the engine to turn. I'm thinking that the trans is locked up. How in the Heck am I going to seperate the two? I'm thinking, removing as many of the stall bolts. Which will only be one or two, and chain the engine to his truck, chain the trans to my truck and pull them apart. I don't know what to do, ever had this before. Thanks. Stampede
Right now I'm trying just turn the engine over to remove stall bolts, and figure out what happened to it. The story is, he was driving home, and the engine just died. I went to look at it, we pulled had the alter. tested, tested good. He pulled the started, and works fine. Motor will not turn over by hand. I'm don't sure if it's the engine or the trans. We will be pulling both, just because I can't turn the engine. I'm trying to figure out how to seperate the two. Thanks.
wnaplay1647545503
It may be difficult but you may be able to get in there with a long wrench and slowly get them out. Without actually seeing it. Maybe even shearing off the bolt heads with a long chisel.

Stampede
Should I still be able to pull the engine with the stall, and leave the trans in the car? Also, what about the wiring harness, does it stay on the engine or do I remove it? Thanks.
